About Maranatha Church of God of Prophecy

Our church was founded in 1973 as Pantertown Church of God of Prophecy by Roger and Carol Hyatt, dedicated Christians who wanted to create a welcoming space for all people to worship God.  

After Pastor Roger passed from this life to be with the Lord, Roger's son, Brad Hyatt, was set forth as a Lay Minister in December 2018.  After the death of Roger's wife, Carol, Brad resigned as Lay Minister and the church closed.

 In 2024, building on their foundation, the church was 

 positioned for transition and changed the name to Maranatha Church of God of Prophecy; Rev. Terry Reamsnyder was elected as pastor.  Pastor Reamsnyder retired from Pastoral Ministries effective August 9, 2026.  

Bishop Billy Adams then appointed Rhonda Hyatt to the position of Director of Ministerial Services.

On Sunday mornings,

 we will gather for Bible Study at 10:00 a.m.  

Then, as the Holy Spirit leads, we will begin a series of Sundays titled “Let Me Be a Witness.” 

Following Bible Study and a time of worship through music and song, we will hear from different speakers as they share what God has placed on their hearts.

We are excited to see what God has in store for Maranatha as we seek His guidance and follow where He leads.
