VERSE OF THE DAY

An elderly man with a beard reading a book outdoors near flowers.

Thursday

Jeremiah 32:17 Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.

In the immense expanse of our universe, with its billions upon billions of stars, where our own tiny blue planet is only a small speck of sand on an inestimable seashore, God knows us each personally. Such knowledge is too wonderful to be true, and yet it is. God has shown us His love in Jesus to remind us that He not only knows us, but He cares for us.

PRAYER ... O Great God of the heavens, thank You for caring for me even though I am such a small part of Your great work in the universe. Your love is beyond my comprehension, and yet it thrills me to know that in Your grace one day I will see You face-to-face. Through Jesus, I praise you. Amen.
